These pretty earrings were originally carved in wax whilst I was looking at a seed pod

and the chain is very slightly larger too

The inspiration came from close observation of a seed collected from a Giant Hogweed

There is a double-pronged stainless steel brooch pin for a versatile and secure fastening

Perforated Pistachio Brooch red Colour : Light-blue turquioseThis Perforated pistachio coloured brooch is made from vitreous enamel fired onto a delicate piece of copper sheet. The surround is made from oxidised silver sheet, and silver rivets hold everything in place. The brooch is light weight with a two pronged brooch pin made from stainless steel, which holds the brooch securely in place, anyway up. The initial inspiration for this piece started from a pencil rubbing taken from the woven textures of a cane
