you can see the resemblance of this detail based upon the Catholic symbolism of her aura/ray of light around her

This design was interesting to create because I wasnt exactly sure how to go about creating a border that would bring out the unique shape of the stone. I decided to go with the linear texture pattern, hoping to channel a Navajo vibe.
