Given that the Star Trek set is a direct celebration of a property that includes a ton of iconic characters played by real-world actors, all of which are translating over to the game, it was the right time to try this style of card, because the next opportunity may be a very long way away

This particular card is likely to maintain a lot of its value regardless of the reprint

However, I think that, judiciously used, you can have things like Pithing Needle, or Howling Mine, or more generic you dont need to necessarily remove this or you lose types of those cards

These effects are used incredibly rarely in the format already, so it's neat to have this and you might infrequently see it pop up, but I wouldn't put too much stock in its utility, even if it's better than people will first give it credit for
