I used to do a lot of business with Troll and Toad years ago, as their prices on single cards were usually excellent, and TCGPlayer wasnt the default TCG marketplace juggernaut it is now
Im really not interested in hyping a set thats a bust, and Im not from one of the big card-selling sites trying to get you to buy all the most expensive singles
I often talk about how the digital Cube offerings have too much expensive stuff in the red column, and cards like Bloodthirsty Adversary and Figure of Destiny are the sorts of things that these decks actually want at the top of their curve: stuff thats meaningful in the late-game, but that keeps the pressure on in the early-game when they need to pull ahead
I have a feeling we will only play Lorcana a couple times a year, but well have new cards coming in on a regular basis
Neoprene gaming mats are, in my opinion, more of an optional accessory
