It's basically cheating (or, more precisely: a color pie break) that lets red decks get rid of problematic cards like enchantments and guarantees that its target gets out of sight and out of mind, but runs the risk of replacing it with something even worse
And thanks for the feedback, Ive changed it to non-1st edition and added the following explanation: Usually we call the lack of 1st edition symbol an unlimited edition print, but I will call this non-1st edition instead, due to the fact the Shadowless cards only had one print run, instead of an unlimited amount

Paying something like 8 mana for a 9/9 green creature with trample and ward 4 is a good rate, and the dice results can be much higher than that
