With the fairly faint outlines (impressed) of a doghouse or barn visible on the brown ground just behind the dog

amplified many times over by the years she has endured

perhaps most of all the way the O and the W stretch the entire height of it

with a bit of stain visible along left edge and some old glue staining (not sticky) around the edges of the reverse side

Again with the very excellent, very sculptural treatment of the hair, and how proud this woman looks and as if on the verge of ripping open her bodice like the
