Serial #18721, built in 1956 by George Reid and Cal Skinner during the Wes Jordan era. The rod is in excellent condition. The script on the butt section has received a light varnish overcoat for some reason, but the rest of the rod remains 100% original. All sections are full length with slight sets in both tips. The rod features darkly tempered cane often seen on older Orvis rods
