The path is affectionally known locally as the ‘Nun’s walk’ because you pass the Dominican Convent

This deceptively Mediterranean looking church is perched on a hill above Ballintoy harbour and is one of the most memorable views along the north Antrim coastline in Northern Ireland

The area was also recently used as the backdrop for filming scenes for the fantasy series ‘Game of Thrones’

Reflections, Ballintoy The path is affectionally knownMy inspiration for this piece came from a visit to the famous Ballintoy harbour just as Covid lockdown was coming to an end. It was a glorious sunny day with the most vibrant blue sky and sea. As I walked around the harbour these rock pools caught my eye with the earthy tones of the rocks and reflections contrasting beautifully with the blue and turquoise colours of the still water.
