There are a couple of tiny bits of black paper that have fallen near the edge of the frame

muscled arms and huge hands with individuated fingers--altogether a pure embodiment of endurance and fortitude

but assume it was once part of a wall relief

which I think makes them wonderfully graphic

Otherwise this piece is very good condition

Lovely Tiny Antique Silk Covered Emory with Embroidered Green dance There are a couple ofA small thing, but such a lovely one I think, which feels like spring to me, with the palest pink silk topped with beautiful sprawl of celadon green embroidery. The silk is worn, making it almost look more like strands of thread rather than fabric in some areas, which is part of what I love about it, as if the purpose of the green embroidery were to gather up the waves of thread. Under the pink is a red lining, showing through in a few spots. Emory
