RL Winston Bamboo Fly Rod 8' 2/2 #6 7'6" (with either tip) Ferrules areA nice R. L. Winston bamboo fly rod, 8, 2 piece, 2 tip, and built for a #6 line. Serial #3618. The rod weighs 4. 4 ounces on my scale. Very modest use, slight hand soiling on the grip, and just the start of casting cracks at the ferrule wraps. Nice feeling DF action. Medium wheat straw color cane with 3 up node pattern. The varnish is superb. Light brown main wraps with cinnamon edges at the keeper, ferrules, and tip tops. Carbide stripper and chrome
