Satisfying Bottle Shaped Modernist Vase with Painterly Glazing house blocks Well worn in a greatI can't resist earthy, chunky pottery like this, and the glazing on this modernist bottle shaped vase is just right, making me think of Motherwell, and Helen Frankenthaler, too. (And the drippiness is also just right for an ink bottle shaped vessel!) Heavy and substantial and good all the way around. Initialed (incised) on the underside, C. E. C. it looks to me. c. 1960s 70s I would think. 6 1 2" x 3 7 8". Great vintage condition, no chips, cracks or
