They old wooden box I'm selling them in is not original to the set

and the rider in white hooded anorak with red trim and gloves

and a couple of flowers

But what makes it really fun is the writing on the bottom

Grinding Done Here 1907 Drawn Postcard collage with watercolor horsehair I assumeI not sure if this would be a cutler, or a tool maker, sharpening what looks like a knife but perhaps is some other tool on this grinding wheel but I sure love the image of him! And what a diligent, patient grinder he looks to be, and pretty great in his overalls and striped shirt with rolled up sleeves. I thought this one might make a nice gift for anyone doing a good job persevering through the daily grind, though all the better if literally so!
