Olive Green Whalebone Bonnet gown non-commercial use by the buyer~AtBonnets were popular for much of the 18th century. Black silk was by far the most common for 'whalebone bonnets', or boned bonnets, but other colors such as white and green were sometimes seen. This ready made version was constructed using our new Whalebone Bonnet Pattern with the color inspired by a period newspaper ad.
