Wells Phrenology Handbook with Illustrations mythological twins Watercolor on watercolor type cardWhile extremely problematic on so many levels, phrenology did certainly yield some pretty amazing diagrams and graphics, and, as with many artifacts of quack science, makes for interesting reading (if also discouraging; according to this analysis, I have a very small brain indeed.) This 28 page booklet features a break down of all of the 37 "Faculties" imag(in)ed and listed on the cover, plus several pages of illustrations diagramming the exact
