Edward Vom Hofe Restigouche Reel 423 4/0 Gary Siemer The rod is numbered 910An Edward Vom Hofe Model 423 Restigouche Salmon fly reel in good overall condition. Size 4 0 3 7 8" diameter. RHW. This reel carries the '02 patent date on the sliding oil cap. German silver safety bands and a pair of roller bars. The frame is in excellent condition. The hard rubber sideplates have turned slightly brownish, as is typical over time, though they are free of issues. All but two screw heads have some discoloration which may be corrosion,
