I'd guess is it pretty old and there is a bit of roughness to the wood in a few spots on the reaming end
Its got a wonderful wonderful patina
as I think the two different shades of paper and types of thread tethering it around their necks and waists makes them all the more lovely together in compliment and contrast
It looks like Goofy may be missing an ear and there is some paint loss to the front just above him
