Stunning Antique RPPC of Coal Miners with Dog carnival dice I vividly remember visiting Skansen—anI was pretty blown away when I find this antique RPPC yesterday in New Hampshirewhat a stunning image. Clearly these are coal miners having emerged from the deep in the mine, with this soot covered hound at the center of it all. I'm guessing this was taken about c. 1910s, when hard shelled electric miner's cap lamps began to replace canvas caps with brackets to which oil lamps attached, which is what a few of these miners are still wearing; this
