I take him for a runner--and this photo makes me think of the loneliness of a long distance one

and have seen a few other varieties as well

Each was carved from one piece of wood

I love the play of horizontals and verticals here, too, with just the arc of the huge open mouthed fish interrupting the linearity. 3 5 16 x 2 3 8 and in good condition, with some black paper residue on reverse.
