There appear to be three hairline cracks in the base

and some other minor scattered staining

but the mounts are still super functional should one to slip some new lists into them

The blocks are in good shape and nicely aged

I'd guess the wonderfully gesturing arms were once covered in gray velvet or maybe faux fur

Old Carved Wooden Doll with Leather Arms chest of drawers There appear to be threeNot a lot in the way of details a carved triangle for a nose, a straight line for a mouth, and the general suggestion of ears on the sides of the head but really a sweet one I think, and a pretty old one, too. The arms are leather strips, attached with old iron nails, and I love how they are now curled a bit to follow the silhouette of the body. And he stands up proudly on his own. 7 1 2" t x 2" w x 1 1 8" d and in good, I believe antique, condition.
