Old Pine Carved Shy Looking Fellow little wooden boot I would guess maybe 1960s

I would guess maybe 1960s or so

and are likely a mixed pair--one is a bit grayer in tone and the other flecked a bit more brown--but they are of the same size

and I've weeded out any with significant chips

3 1/4" across at lip and 2 5/8" across at base

with only the yellow of the pants

Old Pine Carved Shy Looking Fellow little wooden boot I would guess maybe 1960sA subtle carving, but a pretty great one I think, looking like a shy but friendly guy standing in the corner of the room, quietly smiling, and with big ears open! Carved of pine, with a nice play between the form and the grain of the wood. 8 1 16" t x 1 7 8" w x 1" d. Good condition, with a nice dry wood patina. Flat on the backside and unsigned. Needs to lean against something in order to stand.
