I find her completely compelling

did not realize that Royal Haeger made some pretty great ceramics in the 1960s and 70s with terrific fat lava glazes

I just love the spiky black leaves on these blue and purple branches

right down the wonderful fish-topped weathervane

Sailor Laddie 1903 Pen and Ink Drawing vintage toy figure (There is a second shino-glazedWhen I first saw this drawing I thought the caption read "Sailor Daddie", which happily lends is another dimension! Just a great drawing I think, complete with little sailboat at his feet and HMS on his cap (for His or Her Majesty's Ship) making one assume it is British. Initialed EMB it appears and dated 1903 at lower right. 7 7 8" x 6 1 2". Very good antique condition, with a little age toning around the edges and a few small stains here and there.
