Fred Harvey Photomatic Portrait of Young Man with Gun and Bandaid dutch oven set I don't believe it isI assume, as he looks to be holding a real gun, that this very beautiful boy is in fact a very young soldier and I have learned that during WW2 Fred Harvey's Harvey House restaurants re opened to serve soldiers as they traveled in troop trains across the U. S so perhaps that is when this Photomatic was taken. I find it quite a stunning portrait, including for the bright intensity of his gaze and posture, and that bandage stretching from temple to ear.
