The owner's name and weight are inked on the rod, the latter at 2 5 8 ounces (though my scale has it closer to 3. 4). Oven tempered cane done in a three up node pattern. As with all of the Montana Winston rods, the varnish is fantastic, right up there with the very best of the best. The wraps are tan with cinnamon edges at the keeper, ferrules, and tip tops.
