I love the artful chevron placement of the stripey print on this 1970s vintage maxidress - and wouldn't it be too cute shortened to mini length

and I can only see it when I angle the fabric a certain way in good light – see closeup photo of the top edge which is the easiest to discern – I had to jack the contrast up to make it visible

CLOSURES: There are two small buttons that close the keyhole bodice at the back of the neck

The rayon fabric is a woven gabardine plaid in maroon with a fine line diagonal plaid that creates tiny jolts of red and white. The tie is unlined, with top stitching at both ends, typical for earlier neckties.
