combined with these gloriously long black horsehair bristles

this is a wonderful

though it looks a bit like a cherry stem

I love how completely androgynous the figure is, who I take for a young Roman, perhaps Julius Caesar himself, crowned with metal laurel wreath but really I think it could be anyone one wants, and without the crown reminds me a lot of an old Santos figure.
