but it is stamped "Made in Japan" on its bell

There is also hook on the back for hanging

and while not pushing do think it would be especially wonderful hung in a grouping with at least one of the other two paintings from the same series I have in the shop (see last photo to see what I mean)

the color of the painting is very rich and strong

Wonderful Painted Pine Folk Art House (Tea Caddy?) with Roof Loss playing card vesta but it is stamped "MadeThis wonderful house shaped box has lost the overhang of its roof on the back side and has a small loss on the front side too, but I loved it way way too much to leave it behind. With that roof hinged on the left side and a latch on the other, I believe most likely it was made to function as a tea caddy (there are some very fine 19th c example of tea caddies in the form of houses). Painted the perfect yellow with curtained windows and some greenery
