and has definitely been knocked around a bit

I'm not sure if this print block was used for printing advertising signs or for internal signage or what

I've since learned it was a significant one artistically and architecturally built by sculptor Bernhard Hoetger, who came to Worpswede (a municipality in the district of Osterholz, in Lower Saxony, Germany) through his acquaintance with Paula Modersohn Becker.
