I am completely taken with this little ringmaster (look at those pink cheeks

with a turned wooden handle that screws off

which also creates a sort of back stoop when pulled forward

perhaps even more so

I believe this dates to the late 19th early 20th century and would have been a souvenir purchased at a vacation spot, clearly somewhere on the water! In addition to the transportive view, I love the self referential nature of it, especially a miniature painting of a paddle on a paddle. 16 1 16" l x 3 13
