Wonderful, Curious, Finely Carved Carved Partial Face on Wooden Print Block Flip Side, Dog on Reverse enlarging by grid and which I am listingA very curious little thing, and one of my very favorite recent finds. Seems to me the side with the hunting dog came first, made as a print block, but then someone decided to carve this face of a child (with marvelous collar!) into the wood on the reverse side not to be printed, but just as a carving. A quite a skillful carver they were, so beautifully done, with the face looking perhaps Native American, or Inuit, to me. A bit mysterious feeling, and
